These terms cover your use of Cartline, a Shopify app operated by GnK Web, LLC ("we", "us"). Installing the app means agreeing to them.
What the service is
Cartline creates a product page for the products you choose, served at an address on your own Shopify store. It reads your product data, stores your page settings on your products, and hands off to your Shopify checkout. It does not process payments and does not hold customer data.
Your account
You need an active Shopify store. You are responsible for what you publish through Cartline — your product claims, your prices, your promotional wording — and for it complying with the law where you sell.
Billing
- Cartline is $29 per month, billed through Shopify on your normal invoice.
- New installs get a 7-day free trial. Nothing is charged during it, and uninstalling before it ends means you are never billed.
- Charges are managed by Shopify. Cancel by uninstalling the app, and billing stops.
- Because Shopify handles billing, refunds follow Shopify's process. Contact us and we will help.
Acceptable use
Do not use Cartline to sell what you are not permitted to sell, to make claims you cannot support, or to mislead shoppers about price, availability or urgency. The countdown is tied to a real end time you set, deliberately — do not work around that.
Do not attempt to interfere with the service, access other merchants' data, or resell the app as your own.
The AI assistant
The assistant is optional and off by default. It answers from your product data within rules you set. It can still be wrong. You are responsible for what appears on your page, and we recommend reviewing its answers on anything where accuracy carries legal weight — ingredients, compatibility, safety.
Availability
We aim to keep Cartline running continuously and will give notice of planned maintenance where we can. We do not promise uninterrupted service. If Cartline is unavailable, your store, its theme and its normal product pages are unaffected — the app does not sit in that path.
Your data
Your page settings are stored on your products in Shopify, not in our database. If you stop using Cartline, they stay with you. What we hold and for how long is set out in the privacy policy.
Ending it
Uninstall at any time from your Shopify admin. That stops billing and stops the app using your store. We may suspend an account that breaches these terms, and will tell you why.
Liability
Cartline is provided as is. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for lost profits, lost sales or indirect losses arising from using it. Our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to what you paid us in that period.
Changes
We may update these terms. Material changes will be notified through the app or by email before they take effect.
